Having skirted the edges of practical applied biology most of his career, I daresay his newest discovery, Flippitoons, ranks among his best works. After sifting through months of hardly legible scrawls and scribbled artwork, I was luckily able to help him piece his latest findings together into what you see now.

The Flippitoons reside in a strange world where the confounding creatures have the ability to flip over revealing a surprising dual nature! The artwork on the Flippitoon identifier card can be viewed in either direction depending on which form the viewer wishes to experience. These illusive beings have proven to be photo-resistant, so James prepared illustrated, detailed creature designs for this guide, numbering them in order of their discovery.

Along with the art and design of the visual guide, James managed to commit to memory some of the environmental sounds associated with these interesting various species that reflect the artwork. Working with the Mythsonix project some brief "mood pieces" were worked out and can be heard here for the first time!

To try to get a more complete picture of what these bizarre beings are up to, some brief rhymes have been added to each card that James jotted down while observing the Flippitoons in their respective elements. As with the artwork, it does not matter which side is read first.

James has begun working with the acclaimed sculptor Sam Greenwell(well versed in creature design himself!) to bring the Flippitoons off the page and into the hands of curious collectors everywhere! This phase of the project has only just begun, and more marvelous models will be posted in the coming months!
